voco St. James Hotel, an IHG Hotel

I am truly happy for choosing this hotel. The room was beautiful and cosy, the staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and were just so kind. Everything is well organised and their lobby is beautifully decorated. Air conditioning worked well, it was clean. Great location, short walk from good breakfast - Mother's and the Ruby Slipper, Canal Street and all the iconic restaurants. We will definitely stay with them next time.

Overall awesome place to stay! No they do not have croissants anymore. But location is great; easy parking options, lots of dinner choices in walking distance. The rooms on 4th floor have an amazing terrace. Rooms are comfortable and pretty. Lots of seating areas around the hotel. Was a fantastic last minute find! Felt like a hidden gem ⚜️ *decal stickers would be nice of the cute bird logo! 💭💡

I have had the privilege of staying here for the past 4 months. The entire staff made sure I was treated like family. The managment would make sure everything was perfect for our stay the entire time. My room was so comfortable every night. The pool was a great getaway from the heat and a private area to just relax with a cold drink in my hands. Every morning we had amazing breakfast sandwiches, muffins or bagels. The dinner drinks and food were amazing every single night. The night caps at the bar truly made our long days worth it. I can’t wait to go back for another work project or with my family again. I truly recommend this place to anyone and their families to enjoy.

Lovely boutique hotel right in the heart of New Orleans, walker friendly area, not to busy and close to all sorts of options, it was Sugar Bowl in the city, unbeknownst to us, so this was a fantastic last minute find in a decent price range given the circumstances. Clean and well maintained, helpful staff, check in and out was a breeze. Was super excited about the room service with croissants and coffee in the morning but unfortunately they stopped doing that service 2 years ago. Please bring it back!!! We stayed in room 402 and it was heavenly!! Exposed beams and brick gave a very nostalgic/antiquated feeling. Large private terrace with lots of outdoor seating, I do recommend maybe adding another chair/sofa on the interior though. Comfy bed, spacious bathroom. Just an all around cozy room. Only complaint is that our coffee pot did not work, so I called downstairs to see if I could just get 2 cups of brewed coffee as our in room keuirg was malfunctioning, but was told the cafe in the lobby with the coffee machine was a separate entity and would charge for the cups of coffee. She did however offer to send up a different keurig, but by that time I didn’t feel like having to go through all that again of figuring out the coffee pot. Etc Beautiful gated courtyard as well, nice and inviting lobby. There’s a pool here too
